Reporting to the Divisional General Manager, the Human Resources
Manager is a key member of the Senior Management Team
and one of the largest forest products manufacturing
operations in British Columbia. In this position you will have an
interactive role with Superintendents and Supervisors
providing leadership and support for the employees and
staff (including woodlands) on site.
Major
Duties:

Facilitation and conflict
resolution support at the operation
-
Development and coaching support for staff and
employees
-
Administration of C/A and Letters of Understanding
-
Administration and coordination of OH&S program
-
Coordination of the Disability Management Program
-
Administration of divisional salary and hourly
benefits plans
-
Recruitment of hourly and salary positions
-
Site environment contact / coordinator
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will bring
the following experience and expertise:
-
Proven ability and experience in
labour relations and contract administration
-
Experience in managing OH&S
programs
-
Experience in managing disability
programs
-
Excellent administration and
computer skills
-
Effective communicator with
strong written, verbal and presentation skills
-
Strong interpersonal skills and
able to provide leadership in non-reporting
relationships
