A major forest product company with resource management and
manufacturing operations throughout Western Canada has a new
position for a Human Resources Manager
This position will plan, direct, implement and coordinate
human resources functions for three manufacturing divisions
in Alberta and Saskatchewan. The incumbent will:
Provide guidance on the interpretation and application of
provincial employment related statutes
Ensure an effective recruitment and selection process is in
place for hourly employees
Provide staff support to operations safety and environmental
programs that operations are compliant
Manage the training programs for the hourly workforce, and
for WCB claims management
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years previous Human Resource Generalist
experience
Relevant post secondary education
A CHRP designation is an asset
Some travel in Western Canada is required
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
